  However, you can select from 2 type of jumping rope for a more specific fitness result.

  Speed Rope & Weighted Rope.

  For beginner, slimming, advanced jumper, I'll recommend speed rope.

  For focused on body building, the weighted rope will be better choice.

SPEED ROPE

It is the usual jump rope. Speed rope is ideal for beginners to start training & develop steps & body coordination. When advanced, a speed rope also a solid choice for expert to perform special technique, like double jump & kicking.

Weighted Rope

It is the heavy version of speed rope. The functions are same as it's skinny brother, the different is the rope will be thicker. The extra thickness can provide better effective on muscle training. As the swing of rope will be heavier & harder to do, so your muscle will be involved more and more. There are two type of weighted method. They either using stronger & heavier materials for the rope or insert weighted bar inside the handle.
